How do I make sure my wedding arch stays balanced?
Hi, I got a white pre-lit arch that's metal from Michael's... and the bases are small and circular, poles... if you know what the typical wedding arches look like, you know what I meas.
Anyways I bought it to have above us, as we are getting married...but we will be in a church, on a floor that's carpet or hard wood... will it balance okay? Or how do I make sure it does?
For our daughter's wedding, my husband made wooden bases for each side of the archway. They're probably about 6x12". He just slid the poles into holes drilled into them. They held the archway securely. He painted them white and they decorated them with the same type of flowers they had on the archway. It looked really pretty and she didn't have to worry about it falling over.
